RESPECT FOR THE SITE & ITS MEMBERS

1. The intention of creating this site is so that members can specifically talk about spiritually-related themes.

2. Whilst freedom of speech is encouraged on my site, it is essential that members refrain from telling too much personal information about other members who have not given them permission to do so.

3. No member should speak on behalf of another member and invite other people to join in private events without permission from the organizer first. Details and feedback from these private events can only be disclosed at the organizer's and those particular members' discretion.

4. Members are encouraged to participate in the discussions etc. This includes communicating with other members in a respectful manner and being an active contributor to the network.

ALL MEMBERS MUST ABIDE BY THE PRIVACY LAWS

5. Any threats, abusive language, harassment or putdowns and degrading comments to or about other members will not be tolerated on this site.

CONTENT

1. No spamming! Whilst we encourage members to advertise their businesses on their own profiles and to share their knowledge openly with other members, we strongly advise that any non-related spiritual or healing topics will be deleted and membership will be banned. For eg: Ringtone ads.

2. All Profile content added by members including, photographs, videos, music, posts, blogs etc must not include vulgar or offensive material such as pornography, nudity, violence or post any content that portrays animals or children being treated as objects. Members will be banned if appropriate action has not been taken. Adult sites are not part of the NING network.

3. Topics posted on the DVN can be relevant or irrelevant to the network, and any outside information quoted by members should be followed up with links and names of authors etc due to copyright laws. There are certain groups set up for people wanting to chat about general topics that are irrelevant to the spiritual theme. Please be advised to read the Respect for Other Members section when discussing other members.

4. For safety reasons, it is advised that you do not post personal details on your profile or give other members that you do not know very well; your personal home or mobile phone number, your work or home address etc If you feel comfortable giving another member this personal information, make sure that you let a close friend of yours know and if meeting in person, make sure it is in a public place. You are welcome to post your email and business websites if you feel comfortable in doing so.

5. The DVN was formulated to bring spiritually-minded people together to discuss all spiritually related topics. This site is not intended for those who wish solely to advertise their businesses, or for those who want to be 'gatecrashers'. No multiple accounts allowed. These will be deleted.

If any of these rules are breached and depending on the violation, a warning will be given to the offending member, and if their behaviour continues,membership will be terminated. If a member is being harassed or has reason to feel that their safety or personal space has been invaded please do not hesitate to message me.
